This is a key business group that influences policy and creates the spatial framework to encourage growth and works closely with the West Midlands Combined Authority Housing and Land Delivery Board.
- Develop a spatial framework to identify future housing and land requirements in Coventry and Warwickshire.
- Agree and publish a planning protocol between each authority in Coventry and Warwickshire to inform how planning authorities will deal with applications quickly and efficiently.
- Set a protocol for statutory consultees to engage with them in the growth agenda.
- Identify and discuss issues which concern members of the group, whether from the private or public sector.

The next scheduled meeting of the Planning and Housing Business Group is on Thursday 25 June and is currently planned to be held online.
