This is a key business group that influences policy and creates the spatial framework to encourage growth and works closely with the West Midlands Combined Authority Housing and Land Delivery Board.


  • Develop a spatial framework to identify future housing and land requirements in Coventry and Warwickshire.
  • Agree and publish a planning protocol between each authority in Coventry and Warwickshire to inform how planning authorities will deal with applications quickly and efficiently.
  • Set a protocol for statutory consultees to engage with them in the growth agenda.
  • Identify and discuss issues which concern members of the group, whether from the private or public sector.
