ePrice is a well-known and respected Italian marketplace, and the market leader for consumer electronics, home appliances, gaming and more. They offer customers a strong catalogue of over 8 million products, whilst sellers benefit with lower commission rates than some other marketplaces and no listing fees.
The demographic split of their customers is 65% male and 35% female. Age-wise, the largest customer segment are those between ages 33-44 (30%), with the rest falling into the following groupings: 18-24 years (8%), 25-32 years (24%), 45-54 years (23%) and over 55 (15%).
The platform invests in the normal marketing channels, including digital display and price comparison sites. They launched an onsite sponsored products/Pay-Per-Click programme in 2018, which is very good value with low cost per click and fewer active advertisers than similar programmes on other channels.
