Business leaders and stakeholders across Coventry and Warwickshire are being urged to attend a free workshop aimed at providing valuable guidance on Brexit.
The Brexit Workshop for Business Advisors and Intermediaries in Coventry and Warwickshire is being held at the Best Western Plus Manor Hotel in Main Road, Meriden, from 3pm-5pm on Wednesday, October 30.
The event is aimed at business advisors and intermediaries working across the region who engage with private sector employees.
The workshop will feature speakers and experts who will examine the current and potential future challenges at a time when Brexit-related uncertainty is already having an impact on business confidence and activity.
It will also cover the many sources of help available locally and nationally, and attendees will have ample opportunity to share their experiences.
Craig Humphrey, managing director at the CWLEP Growth Hub, said: “Business advisors and intermediaries play a vital role in stimulating the regional economy.
“Whether it is providing new start-ups with information on funding or highlighting new business opportunities, the work they do is essential to sustained business growth in Coventry and Warwickshire.
“It is therefore crucial that they have access to support and guidance on Brexit and I strongly urge stakeholders from across Coventry and Warwickshire to attend the workshop.
“Not only will the event provide a forum to raise concerns, delegates will also have an opportunity to meet new contacts and discuss their Brexit strategies.”
The event is one of a series of major events across Coventry and Warwickshire this month aimed at preparing local businesses for Brexit.
Humphrey added: “We understand that for many, Brexit continues to give cause for concern, however the Growth Hub is committed to making support and guidance available to all levels of business.”
