The 2018 Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (CWLEP) annual review has been distributed during this year’s Coventry and Warwickshire Business Festival.
The 20-page publication called Changing Lives & Perceptions features a message from Kelly Tolhurst MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Minister for Small Business, Consumers and Corporate Responsibility, while CWLEP chair Jonathan Browning assesses Coventry and Warwickshire’s economy.
The CWLEP’s priorities including its Vision & Strategy, Driving & Building, Culture & Tourism and Digital & Creative are highlighted prominently in the annual review along with case studies of a myriad of businesses from different sectors which have received vital support from the CWLEP Growth Hub.
There is a spotlight on the UK Battery Industrialisation Centre (UKBIC) which will deliver on the UK’s Industrial Strategy and how European funding is helping businesses in the area.
Projects funded by the Local Growth Fund between now and 2021, supported by the Midlands Engine, are included as well as updates on the area’s visit to the world’s biggest commercial property development and investment show, MIPIM, and the on-going success of the C&W Place Board.
Jonathan Browning, chair of the CWLEP, said: “With everyone sharing the same motivation and purpose, we will continue to drive forward the CWLEP and create an area which is making a real difference to the benefit of those who live and work here.”
