The Fargo Village independent shopping and creative arts quarter is bringing a new dimension to shopping in Coventry city centre.

Retailers, artists’ studios, creative workspace, crafts, cafes, markets and entertainment space have been set-up in the creative area in Far Gosford Street.

Catherine Mallyon, a board member of the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership and Executive Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company, said: “Encouraging more leisure and tourism is vital to attracting tourists to Coventry and Warwickshire and Fargo Village is a wonderful example of providing a new experience for Coventry.

“An area of the city which was previously forgotten about to a large extent has been transformed into a busy, bustling, creative village which is attracting people from all over the Midlands as well as further afield.

“As these videos show there is a great deal to draw visitors to Fargo Village since it offers a different shopping experience which is certain to encourage people to return time and time again.”
