Centre of the UK
Coventry and Warwickshire’s transport links are the envy of the UK, with air, road and rail networks providing easy access to 500 million consumers across Europe.
We’re at the heart of the country’s major road arteries, the M6, M1, M42, M40, M69, M45, A5 and A14, and just 20 minutes away from Birmingham International Airport. UK Central international gateway is right on our doorstep and our rail links intersect all major routes north and south, and will include the forthcoming HS2, which is set to reduce travel time to London to within 40 minutes.
This central location makes us home to many logistics and distribution divisions wishing to take advantage of the easy access to the national and international transport network. It has also
netted Coventry and Warwickshire a great reputation for business tourism as we play host to many international corporate conferences and training events across high quality facilities within the region.
And we’re taking nothing for granted - our infrastructure is vital to the area’s ability to function, compete and grow. It’s a key priority for CWLEP to ensure that across our urban centres and rural locations connectivity to all infrastructure - transport, broadband, water and waste services provide a solid foundation for businesses and residents alike. And we’re opening up key investment sites essential to supporting private investment, job creation and housing growth.
