Exceed in Coventry, is a consortium of 5 partner organisations, all with extensive experience of working with unemployed, long term unemployed and inactive people.  Over 1300 Coventry residents will receive help from a personalised programme of support aim at moving individuals on their journey to sustainable employment.

The programme will:

  • Develop new approaches to engage with disengaged groups
  • Provide bespoke provision tailored to meet individuals’ needs,
  • Develop and utilise strong employer relationships
  • Build upon proven interventions to provide people with the best possible support.

Core employment support will be provided by the City Council’s Employment Team through it city centre Job Shop and Working Actively To Change Hillfields (WATCH). Provision is enhanced by Voluntary Action Coventry, Coventry University and Vanny Radio - Community Broadcasters providing a range of packages of personalised support focusing on specific target groups and specific interventions.
