Led by the Nuneaton & Bedworth Citizens Advice Bureau working collaboratively with a range of partners across Coventry and Warwickshire. Breakthrough is focused on providing targeted support to overcome and tackle poverty and promote social / financial inclusion for those with greater and more complex barriers; who experience multiple disadvantages.

We aim to engage with local SMEs to support them to increase their involvement with education and employment services across 5 pilot areas:
Progress offers an intensive, personalised programme of coaching, support and training, led by community charity, Groundwork UK and delivered by a partnership of leading youth charities and local delivery partners with a specialism in engaging young people.
Young people will work with a dedicated Progress Coach – an experienced youth work professional – who will encourage them to set positive goals, inspire a positive work attitude and help them navigate their own personal plan towards employment.

Reed In Partnership’s Work Routes provides people with the support they need to achieve their job goal. Priority groups include those that have not worked for 2 years or more, have a mental health issue, are disabled, have no qualifications, are in receipt of ESA or have an ESOL need.
A personal action plan will be developed based on each participant’s individual needs and work ambitions.
The WMG Product Innovation Accelerator project is partfunded by the European Regional Development Fund, and will leverage the activities of the WMG centre High Value Manufacturing Catapult. This is the first dedicated business support service within Coventry & Warwickshire that enables businesses to improve their resource or energy efficiency and use of renewable energy. This service includes a green business network to inform SME’s of energy efficiency opportunities in the region and one-to-one diagnostics within SMEs to plan how to improve their energy and resource efficiency. The programme will lead to a reduction of 2,500 metric tonnes in greenhouse gas (CO2 equivalent) emissions.
