The project will support both local housing and employment developments whilst also providing a key infrastructure requirement for the Warwick District Local Plan. The scheme will improve access to Jaguar Land Rover at Fen End and the nearby Warwick Parkway rail station.
Officially opened on Friday 11 December 2016, Warwick Trident College is a purpose built facility which will train advanced and higher apprentices in the manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, electronic, automotive and product creation sectors.
Over 2077 apprentices have already benefited from the industry-standard facilities including engineering workshops, teaching labs, computer labs and specialist engineering technology labs, which have been tailored to the high quality courses offered by the college.
Kenilworth Station will be located on the Coventry and Leamington rail line. The station will include one platform, an accessible footbridge with lifts, a staffed ticket office, waiting room, café facilities and toilets, a 75 space car park and a stand for two buses.
